Chris seems to make magic as much as Maths because somehow he manages to make the complex seem accessible. That’s also probably why he’s a great tech coordinator as well as Maths teacher and helps make our lives simpler online. He’s also very calm, pensive and a great guy to talk to. Students of all ages love being taught by him.
What’s the best thing about teaching for Chris..’ The most rewarding part of teaching has been seeing someone who deserves to be confident grow into someone who is. However, I also love working to stretch and challenge very able students, often insisting they grapple with the concepts that they may have taken for granted, aiming towards mastery.’
And when Chris isn’t teaching he can often be found playing guitar or piano, or if it’s too late to be gracing others with ringing harmonies, he’s probably satisfying his creative needs by producing something with either pencil or paintbrush.
